Evil Dead Movie - Evil Dead Remake

There's a remake of Evil Dead ahead of us! Yep, dormant demons will awake an possess youngsters again! Producer Sam Raimi (who directed the original 1981 Evil Dead movie) has tapped Director Fede Alvarez (who rose to fame with the science-fiction short film "Panic Attack!") to helm the remake. The script is co-written by Rodo Sayagues Mendez, Diablo Cody and Fede Alvarez. The release date of the new Evil Dead movie is set for April 12, 2013. Here's the plot synopsis:

Plot:
"Mia, a young woman struggling with sobriety, heads to a remote cabin with her brother and a group of friends, where the discovery of a Book of the Dead leads to danger and horror."

From what I heard the remake of Evil Dead will be darker and even more violent than the original.
